Buhari Couldn't achieve more due to the fact that Nigeria do not have enough cash- BMOO

The Buhari Media Organisation (BMO) has claimed Nigeria does not have cash.

BMO Chairman, Niyi Akinsiju, stated this on Sunday at the Information Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Discussion board in Abuja.

He stated that thanks to the circumstance, President Muhammadu Buhari was only implementing vital guidelines that will positively impact the poor.

Akinsiju claimed: “We have a President that is considerate that for each individual policy, the vital issue to him would be the consequence to Nigerian inadequate and the Nigerian people.”

He pointed out that the government was “thinking of constructing roads, upgrading schools, upgrading hospitals and all that when we have lesser dollars to attend to such”.

“So, the fact is that Nigeria does not have money and I individually do not delude myself because we do not have income and the only way we can have income is a pure capitalist system that we are running.

“We would have absent into taxing, eliminating subsidy and all that, that is what most capitalists of the other worlds are telling us to take away subsidy so that government would have additional income.”

Akinsiju pointed out that citizens, particularly the weak will find it tricky to exist if such guidance is taken.

“There was just this 2.5 for each cent increase in VAT and there was uproar, in the meantime our capitalist economists are telling us that we ought to have enhanced it to 15 per cent VAT, you can only picture the end result,” he reported.

He further more blamed the nation’s underdevelopment on the previous administrations.

The BMO chairman explained lousy roadways, undesirable hospitals, negative educational institutions had been induced by all those who ruled Nigeria right before Buhari.

“If authorities of each individual specific period experienced been developing 100 kilometers of highway for every 12 months, you can only envision how many streets would have been constructed”, Akinsiju extra.
