The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has declared the recruitment of 2,079 new officers.

This was contained in a statement on Saturday by Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, Director of Community Relations and Information.

It said the recruits were being predicted to strengthen NAF ability to successfully deal with stability worries in the state.

The Passing Out Parade (POP) of the Basic Navy Education Class (BMTC) 40/2019 was held on Saturday at the Military Schooling Centre (MTC), Kaduna.

In his remarks, Main of the Air Employees (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, stated that the officers had been sufficiently trained to be certain that Nigeria’s territorial integrity and nationwide sovereignty are not undermined or subverted.

He reminded the new airmen and airwomen of the monumental tasks ahead of them as they are joining the navy at a time when the Armed Forces of Nigeria (AFN) is concerned in several Internal Safety (IS) operations.
